Roth Homosexual Postcard

Did you receive this postcard? Someone has sent this to thousands of voters.

Dear Oklahoman
RE: Jim Roth, Democrat candidate
Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner

• The GLBT (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender) movement has endorsed Jim Roth for Oklahoma Corporation Commissioner. See www.victoryfund.org

• Jim Roth for Corporation Commission was a 2008 sponsor for the OKC Gay Pride Parade. See www.okcpride.org

• As an Oklahoma County Commissioner, Jim Roth supported having pro-homosexual books accessible to small children in Oklahoma County libraries.

Does Jim Roth represent your Oklahoma values?

Below are two comments that I received. I accidentally deleted a few other comments.

Anne has left a new comment on your post "Roth Homosexual Postcard":

I got one. Does anyone know how to contact M.O.M.S. other than via the PO Box on the card. This is the kind of thing that truly scares me about living in OK.

Drocurt has left a new comment on your post "Roth Homosexual Postcard":

Yes, Jim Roth does come much nearer representing my Oklahoma values than you or his Republican opponent. He even better represents my HUMAN values better than any of you. He is open, inclusive, affirming, appears to be honest, believes all Oklahomans should have the same rights. If nothing else, he's not another lying, war mongering Republican of the ilk we've had in power for the past eight years and who have driven us nearer a repeat of the Great Depression than any group since the Republicans who did it the last time. Even in Oklahoma, the right wing fundamentalists have caused us to appear to be idiots who cannot understand our Federal Constitution, let alone our own over amended, almost incomprehensible Oklahoma Constitution, which we use to make every effort to punish other Oklahomans and foist individual beliefs onto every Oklahoman, rather than use it to protect the rights of individual Oklahomans
