Friends our bridges are a serious problem. They did not get in this shape over night. It took years of a Democrat controlled House and Senate mismanagement. Our Republicans friends need to wake up and pass real legislation and get Oklahoma going into the right direction. County bridges comprise of approximately, 80% of the total number of deficient bridges in Oklahoma.
The Transportation bond did nothing to solve the problem of our county bridges. Call you State Representative or Senator, and request real legislation, that will solve this problem by getting more funding to counties to fix these bridges. We do not need any more lip service we need real funding before someone is seriously injured on one of our county bridges!
